Shinjuku, a metropolis where “food” and “drink” from around the world gather. Suehiro Street, located at one corner of the city, is a unique “cultural” and “entertainment” district, with a traditional yose theater called Suehiro-tei and sometimes a professional wrestling ring on the street corner. We toured the city of gastronomy with its cultural figure and athletes.

Speaking of beer, draft. The usual beer and pink beer! And meat!

Finish the day with a delicious sake. ...... A small sake cup and a sip.
If you want to drink beer, Suehiro-Dori Shotenkai is the place to be!
Two pro-wrestlers, Guts Ishijima and Yuuki Kanzaki, go on a beer bar crawl. First, a meat dish at Meat Kitchen. Next, they chewed on fried half a chicken at Popular Bar Hoshino 2nd, and I can’t tell you how many beers they opened....... Finally, they had the stylish Liefmans draft at GrandeSoeur!

Meat Kitchen log 50
As the name of the restaurant suggests, it is a beer restaurant with delicious meat. The recommended meat dishes are overwhelming just by looking at them.
Taishusakaba HOSHINO 2’nd
Fried half a chicken with a large bottle of Sapporo Akahoshi. What a perfect combination! Shiromotsu (white meat) is also good!
Grande Soeur
Leaf Month is a Belgian beer. It is a typical cherry beer, and it is too nice to be able to drink its "draft".
Suehiro Street is also a fun place for Japanese food. Sake or Shochu?
Master Rakugo storyteller Ichiba Ryutei is a big name in the rakugo community. He is a master of the Ryutei family, which has many apprentices. He is dressed in a kimono with a crest and holds a cup of sake, just like a scene from the koza stage. We spent a Japanese time at Satsuma Ogojo and Yakitori Sakagura Shosuke.

Yakitori Sakagura Shousuke
As a yakitori brewery, yakitori is the standard. However, fish is not to be missed. We want to pour sake into our stomachs at the counter where fresh seafood is lined up!
Satsuma Ogojo
If you want to eat Satsuma cuisine, this is the place to go! Of course, the sake is Satsuma shochu. Sashimi of kibinago (yellowtail) and dipping sauce, just like being in Temmonkan!
